About this file
This document is a Bid Pricing Sheet and instructions from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) for submission of pricing proposals in response to an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bidders are required to submit firm unit prices and lump sum prices for services described in the IFB using the provided Schedule of Quantities and Prices form. The estimated quantities listed on the form are based on information available at the time of IFB issuance and are used solely for bid evaluation purposes; LACMTA does not guarantee that actual quantities performed will match the estimated quantities. Any fixed dollar amounts predetermined by LACMTA and entered on the pricing sheet are binding on all bidders and may not be revised unless LACMTA issues a change order affecting the relevant service item.
Bidders must enter all unit prices, lump sum prices, and other values in designated spaces and multiply unit prices by estimated quantities to calculate total prices for each line item. The sum of all total prices comprises the Total Bid Price, which represents compensation for completion and acceptance of all services listed on the Schedule of Quantities and Prices as required by the contract. All unit and lump sum prices must be inclusive of costs for services specified in other contract documents, including proportional overhead, profit, applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance, and all contractor and subcontractor expenses. Any blank unit prices or total prices may render the bid non-responsive unless the missing values can be calculated from provided information through mathematical computation.

EXHIBIT 2
SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES INSTRUCTIONS (BID PRICING SHEET)
The Bidder shall submit its firm unit prices and lump sum prices for the Services set forth in the Bid and described in the IFB on the following form entitled SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND
PRICES.
The estimated quantities shown on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES are based on the best information available at the time the IFB was issued, and are used for the purpose of evaluating the Bids. LACMTA does not represent, expressly or by implication, that the actual quantities used in performing the Services will equal the estimated quantities.
In the case of items for which a fixed dollar amount predetermined by LACMTA has already been entered on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES, the dollar amount so entered shall be binding on all Bidders as the price for such item; said dollar amount shall not be revised unless LACMTA directs a Change in the Services affecting the item to which said dollar amount relates.
Unit prices, lump sum prices, and other values must be entered in the appropriate spaces provided in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES. Unit prices must be multiplied by the estimated quantity shown and the total inserted in the "Total Price" column. The "Total Prices" must be added together in arriving at the "Total Bid Price". The Total Bid Price shall be for the completion and acceptance of all Services listed in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES as required by the Contract.
The unit prices and lump sum prices must conform to their respective requirements and parameters as specified in the Scope of Services. They also must be inclusive of all costs for the Services specified in other Contract Documents, including the proportional costs for overhead, profit, all applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance and other expenses of the Contractor, Subcontractors, and Suppliers of all tiers.
Should any unit price be left blank, the Bid will be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., unit price can be determined by dividing the total price by the estimated quantity).
Should any total price be left blank, the Bid may be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., total price can be determined by multiplying the unit price by the estimated quantity).
