Sourcing Event 34101-13750: Incident Management Response Trailer Specifications
This is a specification document for a State of Tennessee sourcing event for the procurement of four (4) Incident Management Response Trailers. The State requires bids from a single source apparatus manufacturer that will design, fabricate, and assemble the complete unit, including the chassis and cab weldment, on the bidder's premises. The trailers are 8.5 feet wide by 7.5 feet high by 24 feet long with a silver exterior and white dry-erase capable interior and cabinetry. Delivery is required to Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) at 3041 Sidco Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37204 within twelve (12) months of purchase order receipt. The contractor shall coordinate all communication, progress updates, and inquiries with the designated TEMA point of contact, Andrew Bates (865-209-5575 or andrew.bates@tn.gov).
The trailers must include integrated electrical systems designed and installed by the manufacturer, an Onan 7.0 kW gas generator with automatic 50-amp transfer switch, comprehensive power distribution infrastructure, LED interior and exterior lighting, a 21-foot Lippert awning system, climate control via a 2-ton LG heat pump and wall heater, kitchen appliances including refrigerator and microwave, two 50-inch smart televisions with associated audio/visual systems, Starlink connectivity infrastructure with network rack and roof antenna, specialized cabinetry and furniture with five rolling office chairs, and compliance with DOT, RVIA, ANSI, and NEC standards. The manufacturer must provide two electrical wiring diagrams (one bound paper copy and one digital copy) at delivery or upon request and submit an approval drawing for State written approval before construction begins. The finalized approved drawing becomes part of the award documents. Warranties for major components must be provided by the single source manufacturer, excluding component-specific warranties for items such as axles, generators, and HVAC systems.
