About this file
This file is a registration guide for the City of Minneapolis eSupplier system, which outlines the process for businesses and individuals to register to conduct business with the municipality. The document provides step-by-step instructions for completing the Bidder/Payee Registration, beginning with accessing the registration portal through the City of Minneapolis website and proceeding through identification, address, contact, and categorization sections. Registrants must provide identifying information including a Social Security Number, EIN, or TIN; establish a business name; select an appropriate business type classification; and enter their primary business address and email. At least one contact must be added to the registration, which requires the contact's name, email address, phone number, contact type, and the creation of an eSupplier User ID for system login access.
The registration process concludes with the categorization section, where registrants select applicable sourcing categories to receive notifications of relevant solicitations and bids. Upon submission, registrants must confirm their email address and accept the Terms of Agreement. Following successful registration submission and approval, registrants receive an email containing their User ID and temporary password, which they must use to access the eSupplier system and establish a permanent password. This registration requirement applies to all entities seeking to participate in City of Minneapolis procurements, including the RFP for HR Learning and Development Services pertaining to Belonging, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-racism (BEIAR).
