About this file
This is a user guidance document for the eSupplier platform operated by the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The document provides step-by-step instructions for bidders and suppliers to access and navigate the eSupplier system, which serves as the portal for state and local contract opportunities. The guidance covers essential functions including signing into the platform, accessing the Supplier Secure Homepage, managing business profile information, and updating service categories relevant to contracting opportunities. The City of Minneapolis has organized available contracting categories into five primary areas: Professional and Technical Services, Construction Services, Other Services, Goods and Supplies, and Items for Rent. Users can filter notifications for applicable opportunities by selecting relevant categories within their profiles.
The document addresses administrative account management procedures including password changes, profile updates for bidders and payees, and account recovery options for forgotten credentials. Bidders and suppliers are instructed to regularly review and maintain accurate business information within their profiles and to select appropriate service categories to receive timely notifications about contracting opportunities. The eSupplier platform functions as the centralized system through which the City of Minneapolis disseminates contract opportunities to pre-registered vendors and manages the bidding process for goods, services, and construction projects.
