AMENDMENT 0002
This amendment is issued to extend the solicitation, make changes and corrections to the solicitation and provide responses to vendor questions, as follows:
Proposals are due no later than 1:00 p.m. EST, July 25, 2017. Past Performance documents (attachments J.4 and J.5 of the solicitation package) will be accepted up to and including the revised date.
Q1. Several provisions in the solicitation appear to anticipate a requirement for performance and payment bond. See Sections F.4, I.38, I.39, and I.40. However, there does not appear to be an explicit requirement to have a performance and payment bond, such as one would find in FAR 52.228-16, for example. Please clarify whether a performance and payment bond is required, the amount, and provide the applicable contract clause(s).
A1. RFP EA-133M-17-RP-0081 has been revised and attached (REV 2). Clauses pertaining to performance and payment bonds have been removed. Insurance is required.
