About this file

This is a Disqualification Disclosure form required under California Public Contract Code Section 10162 for the Rose Bowl Operating Company's request for proposals to retain a qualified architectural firm to serve as Venue Architect. The prospective bidder must certify under penalty of perjury whether the bidder, any officer of the bidder, or any employee with proprietary interest has ever been disqualified, removed, or otherwise prevented from bidding on or completing a federal, state, or local government project due to violation of law or safety regulations. The selected architectural firm will provide comprehensive long-term design services including site condition assessments, conceptual planning, pre-design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding support, and construction administration for anticipated capital improvements at the Rose Bowl campus. The services agreement will succeed the current contract expiring December 31, 2026, with the Rose Bowl Operating Company anticipating issuance of a Notice to Proceed to the selected firm on or about January 4, 2027. The selected firm will be positioned to provide architectural services for multiple potential project delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Construction Manager at Risk, and Design-Build approaches.

The disclosure form requires bidders to indicate yes or no regarding any disqualification history, with instructions to explain circumstances and attach supporting documentation if the answer is affirmative. The Rose Bowl Operating Company does not currently have identified funding for all anticipated capital improvement projects; however, the organization must secure architectural services at this time to move quickly once funding becomes available. Any capital improvement projects undertaken will remain subject to the availability of funds and approval by the Rose Bowl Operating Company. Services performed by the selected firm prior to full execution of the definitive Services Contract will be performed at the selected firm's own risk, governed by the terms of that contract upon execution.
