About this file

This document is a Contract Amendment Summary issued by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) for an On-Call Diamond Grinding Services contract with Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC. The amendment is numbered One (1) and was revised in March 2025, modifying an existing contract through the Arizona Procurement Portal (APP).

The amendment makes two primary modifications to the contract: first, it revises Section 4.3.2 regarding diamond grinding specifications, mandating a uniform finished surface with specific requirements for shoulder and ramp lane grinding, and clarifying the contractor's responsibilities for concrete repairs and joint work. Second, the amendment adds two new line items to the contract price list: CTR076220-54 for Removal of 1" Steel Bar Stock from Deck Joints at $800 per linear foot, and CTR076220-55 for Removal of 1" Raised Concrete from Deck Joints at $1,850 per linear foot. All other terms, conditions, and provisions of the original contract remain unchanged.
