All Replies Response from Kyle Burns SD Crane Builders Inc. on Friday, Apr 11, 2025 at 03:10 PM MST Melissa, Thank you for the response regarding this R.F.I. We will move forward accordingly. Before we send it out for pricing we will wait for the final detail from the structural engineer.

Response from Melissa de la Gardelle Shive Hattery on Thursday, Apr 10, 2025 at 11:04 AM MST After the site field from the structural engineer, it is concluded that the fasteners that connected the soffit to the lintel had come loose at the portion of soffit that was sagging. The structural engineer recommends that the soffit be jacked up and a new horizontal steel plate be welded to the bottom flange of the existing lintel (see attached sketch SK-06). It is recommended that the repair occur along the full length of the east and west edges of the canopy. The sizes of the plates and welds will be provided once the structural engineer has completed his calculations. Contractor shall patch and repair soffit, texture and color to match existing.

D2.2 & A2.2

This RFI is regarding the ceiling in storage room 108 and the area just outside the storage room by panel A. The RCP demo plan D2.2 calls for the existing ceiling to remain and the new RCP shows the ceiling to be a GWB hard lid and to remain at 7’. During Demo, our demo crew had removed the ACT in these areas and the existing ceiling height was 8’ with the ¾”X ¾” fry reglet shadow detail (see picture). Please provide direction on if this ceiling is to be reinstalled at 7’ or 8’ with ACT or if this area is to be framed in and GWB to be installed. This area is also calling for can lights and K3 surface mounted lighting just for reference. Please let me know if you have any questions.
