National Aquatic Resource Surveys (NARS).
At GLEC, Mr. Briem served as a crew member with two EPA National Aquatic Resource Surveys (NARS). As a crew member he has participated in field sampling for the National River and Stream Assessment (NRSA) that included, electrofishing, physical habitat assessment, macroinvertebrate, periphyton, and water quality sampling. Water quality sampling included in situ measurements along with collecting water for pharmaceutical and personal care product contamination assessment.
