About this file

This document is a Solicitation Amendment One issued by the State of Arizona Department of Transportation for the establishment of a term contract for Irrigation Controller Systems, Supplies, Parts and Accessories. The original solicitation was released on October 15, 2025, with proposals due by November 4, 2025. The procurement seeks a comprehensive supply contract for irrigation control technology and related components necessary for transportation infrastructure maintenance. Respondents are required to provide a full range of irrigation controller systems, including hardware, software, accessories, and replacement parts compatible with state transportation infrastructure. Vendors must demonstrate technical expertise in irrigation control systems, provide detailed product specifications, and show capability to support large-scale infrastructure maintenance requirements. The amendment modifies specific terms or requirements from the original solicitation, though the exact modifications require review of the amendment's content. The contract will follow standard state contracting protocols with a structured timeline for submission, review, and potential contract award.

Vendors will be evaluated based on product quality, technological compatibility, pricing structure, delivery capabilities, and technical support services. The procurement process encourages participation from small businesses, minority-owned enterprises, and local vendors, with potential preferential consideration for Arizona-based businesses or those meeting specific diversity criteria. The contract structure likely includes multi-year terms with potential renewal options to ensure sustained access to irrigation control technology and support for Arizona Department of Transportation infrastructure. Specific award values and detailed pricing terms are not explicitly stated in the available information, though irrigation infrastructure contracts for state transportation departments typically range significantly based on the scope and technological complexity of required systems. Potential respondents should be prepared to address sustainable water management practices and system integration with existing Arizona Department of Transportation infrastructure.
