8. Wayfinding at Nahuku parking on west side of Crater Rim Dive. Kilauea Iki Trail intersects with and goes parallel for about 70 yards with Crater Rim Drive which is very confusing for hikers on either direction. Two signs needed.

9. Trail head kiosk at Puʻupuaʻi Overlook parking lot. Access to Devastation Trail one way. Visitors often walk up Puʻupuaʻi (a hill of cinders created by an eruption in 1959) which is dangerous and not allowed.

11. Trail head kiosk at "Old Crater Rim Drive" the unofficial name of the closed section of Crater Rim Drive with access to Keanakakoʻi and views into Kaluapele.

12. Bottom of Halemaʻumaʻu trail. Trail used to continue to Halemaʻumaʻu but ends here now. Opportunity to interpret 2018 eruption and constantly changing Kaluapele.

13. End of "Old Crater Rim Drive" beyond Keanakakoʻi - opportunity to interpret the 2018 eruption and perhaps hulihia/kulia concepts.

7. Trail head kiosk at Kilauea Iki Overlook parking. Access to Kilauea Iki Trail. Potential for two kiosks for both sides of parking lot. A large wooden kiosk sits on south side of parking lot. It is a historic structure but could serve as one of the two kiosks.
