About this file
This is Amendment 4 to an advertised contract for the FY2026 Asphalt Resurfacing Project issued by Paulding County. The project, numbered 2026-ASPH-1 with Bid #26015-1508, is scheduled for letting on March 27, 2026. The amendment addresses four key clarifications regarding project specifications and work requirements. Nighttime work hours are confirmed as 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Friday, unless approved otherwise by the Project Engineer. The OGI/Permaflex pay item for milled areas is confirmed to include both the milling operation and mix costs in a single line item, as this material is available as an alternative to patching. Unpaved driveways and side roads will receive a graded rock or millings base with 2 inches of 9.5mm or 12.5mm topping, with specifications varying based on existing site conditions. Additionally, turn lanes and side roads that are milled 1.5 inches deep must be covered with asphalt paving the same day unless otherwise approved by the Project Engineer.
The amendment provides no information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, funding sources, or other financial details. Bidders are responsible for acknowledging this amendment by checking the appropriate space on the Amendment Certification Page and making any necessary changes to their proposals in ink. All responses to bidder questions are provided in the amendment and serve as binding clarifications to the original contract specifications.
