AT&T and SDG&E Work Summary
AT&T contact information: Tom Halluer 619-266-4680, th2795@att.com.
The following is a brief description from AT&T but the Forest Service does not have this in writing:
The work includes but is not limited to the following: AT&T requirements are per AT&T Spec #88. Contractor will be responsible for paying fees to AT&T, coordination with AT&T for AT&T work, clearing and grubbing, trenching, conduit, grounds, boxes/handholds and backfilling trenches. AT&T will place cable in conduit. No as built survey will be needed by AT&T. It will take AT&T approximately 1 week to issue work order after fees are paid. Latest estimated fees quoted were $36,000.
The first portion of AT&T and SDGE trenching will be separate trenches and then will be one shared trench from the point where they meet just outside of ROW of Kitchen Creek Road up to the project location. Total trenching is 1 mile to the project site.
SDG&E permit fees have already been paid by the Forest Service. SDG&E does not anticipate any additional fees. The Forest Service has the work order and construction/trench inspection paperwork from SDG&E. A copy will be given to the successful contractor upon award.
The following is a brief description of the SDGE work. The work includes but is not limited to the following: Contractor will be responsible for clearing and grubbing, trenching, concrete pads, conduit, backfilling and service panels. SDG&E will pull wiring, put in connections (junction box to junction box), supply and set transformer, supply and set boxes, make connection to transformer, and transformer to meter box/panel. See SDG&E sketch.
