Questions/comments are from the Pre-Bid Meeting held May 31, 2012 @ 10:00 a.m. @ the Pike
& San Isabel National Forests Supervisor’s Office in Pueblo, Colorado:
1. Is it assumed that the culvert installations will be a dry application method?
-This question will be answered in Section B Note #22.
2. What type of culvert materials are allowed, annular or spiral?
-This question will be answered in Section B Note #22.
3. Is there an Item for actual road reconstruction?
-No separate Pay Item for road reconstruction will be established but multiple items in the schedule of items can be used in conjunction if road reconstruction is needed.
4. My questions are directed to line items 622(05) & 622(07). Unit pricing for those two line items are by the hour and the 3 line items above those are for man hours. Is there a difference in how we should be bidding those 5 lines? Or are they all the same?
-Pay items have been corrected to “Hour”.
