Alternates will be evaluated as stand-alone items following the order of priority shown on the Line Item Bid Form and as the allocated budget at the time of releasing the bids allows. After determining the apparent low bidder using this process and considering other factors as outlined in the Bid Documents, the award may be made for base bid items and any combination of additive alternates for which the Owner determines funding will be available at the time of award.
19.08 The Owner reserves the right to non-perform all or some of any Bid Item, including the Alternate(s) such that the base Project can be completed within the limits of currently available funding.
