About this file
This Addendum #1 is a clarification document issued by the City of Griffin, Georgia, regarding the Wayfinding Signs project in Griffin/Spalding County. The addendum corrects a color specification error identified in the Wayfinding Signage List Final document. Specifically, the addendum clarifies that signs numbered 1, 1.1, 26, 27, 28, 34, and 35 are to be painted GREEN, not BLUE as erroneously referenced in the signage list. This correction aligns all signage specifications with the Griffin Signage Drawing 2021 Update. The project consists of 39 directional signs to be installed throughout Spalding County and the City of Griffin to direct tourists and visitors to key points of interest.
The addendum does not introduce new pricing terms, bonding requirements, or contractual modifications beyond correcting the color specification. Bidders should reference the Griffin Signage Drawing 2021 Update as the authoritative color standard for all wayfinding signs. This clarification ensures consistency in the project deliverables and eliminates ambiguity regarding the final appearance of the specified signage installations.
