About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) document for IT Contingency Staffing Services issued by the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder-Elections (ACRE) Department in California. ACRE seeks IT technical staff augmentation to support day-to-day operations and project execution across its business divisions during budgeting cycles. Vendors are required to submit rate cards for identified IT positions detailed in an attached table, with pricing valid for a three-year contract period. The RFP mandates that vendors accept the Santa Monica Consortium (SMC) standard contract template without modifications, and vendors must conduct background checks for all contractors selected by ACRE. ACRE intends to pre-approve vendors through this RFP process before submitting IT position requests.
Vendors responding to this solicitation must provide comprehensive rate cards covering the full three-year term and confirm their acceptance of unmodified SMC contract terms as a condition of participation. ACRE will be responsible for selecting specific contractor resources from pre-approved vendors as staffing needs arise during budget cycles. The RFP does not specify explicit response deadlines, award dates, or site visit requirements in the provided documentation. Vendors should anticipate that ACRE will manage contractor background verification procedures internally for all selected personnel.
