Reference Question Topic Response Amendment 4, answers to questions

Is the contractor to use the tubing as called out on the drawings and use AL6XN when tubing type is not called out on the drawing?

MSK‐002A, Item 2 calls for KSC‐SPEC‐Z‐0007 tubing. Is contractor to assume the same is used from the supply connection to the tank and from the tank to the Quad Valve Panel (including internal tubing in panel on FPSK003 ) on M‐4033 and from the quad valve panel to the quad valves at the stations per FP5013. Note: MSK‐ 002A, FPSK003 calls for KSC‐SPEC‐Z0007 tubing. Note: Previous systems installed with KSC‐SPEC‐Z‐0007 tubing

Tubing Types #1 Yes, provide AL6XN tubing per Specification 79K40462, sections 40 50 00 and 40 34 10 unless noted otherwise.

The Government believes that the type of tubing required is identified in the contract drawings and specifications for all the work; coordination between plans, details, schematics, and specifications may be required.

Note: See attached addenda: specification section 40 34 10 part

2.2 is modified and part 2.2.1 is added to clarify the types of tubing to be used for different applications.

Drawing 79K40461 Volume 4, sheet M-4023

M-4023 shows no call out on tubing type on tubing from GN2 riser to extensible platform and on extensible platform.

Therefore use AL6XN per Attachment J-P, Specification Change 40 34 10 part 2.2?

Tubing Types #2 Yes, provide AL6XN tubing per Specification 79K40462, sections 40 50 00 and 40 34 10 for the GN2 and the GHe supply to the service panels on the platforms and in the service panels.

Amendment 4, answers to Question

Drawing 81K07281, D-2, Parts Lists, Item 2 calls for ¼” x .035 Tubing , Cres 316. Therefore use AL6XN per Attachment J-P, Specification Change 40 34 10 part 2.2?

Tubing Types #3 No, do not use AL6XN tubing for the 1/4" x 0.035 tubing on 81K07821 (Item #8, not Item #2) Note: elsewhere in this amendment Oxygen Deficiency Monitoring System (ODMS) sense tubing and flex lines per drawing 81K07281 sheets G-1 and D-1 through D-4 are added to the scope of work via a revision to Flag Note C on M-1253.

Use the materials as indicated in the parts list table on sheet D-2 of drawing 81K07821; use 316 stainless steel tubing. The quantities in the parts list table are for four ODMS. Since only one ODMS is required in the scope of this work, the quantities required will be approximately 1/4 of those listed.

Reference 81K07281, Sheet D-4, Detail C2.

Reference 81K07281, Sheet D-4, Detail C2. Please confirm there is only two ODM Systems required, one for new Level A (2 halves) and One for new Level B (2 halves)?

Quantity of ODMS Installations

No, there are not two ODM Systems required, one for new Level A (2 halves) and One for new Level B (2 halves).

There is only one ODMS system required; a new ODMS system is only required at Platform B-2 North per note H on drawing 79K40461 Volume 4, sheet M-8403.
