About this file
This is a TX-RAMP Questionnaire attachment for the OneSystem contract opportunity (RFO 701-26-021) issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). The questionnaire is a mandatory compliance document that contractors must complete and include with their response to evaluate their ability to meet Texas-specific data security and cloud computing requirements. The form requires contractors to provide detailed responses regarding their use of cloud computing services and data storage practices as part of their proposal to design, develop, configure, test, implement, pilot, and stabilize OneSystem, a centralized digital platform intended to replace TEA's fragmented systems for grant management and grant performance management.
The questionnaire contains two primary questions designed to assess TX-RAMP compliance. Contractors must disclose whether they will be providing cloud computing services subject to TX-RAMP and specify whether such services will process public or confidential data. Additionally, contractors must identify any third-party cloud computing services where TEA data will be stored and classify the data type (public or confidential) for each service. These disclosure requirements enable TEA to evaluate contractor capabilities and commitment to protecting sensitive educational data and maintaining compliance with Texas' regulatory and security frameworks.
