About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal highway construction projects in Wyoming, specifically WY NPS GRTE 2020(1) Moose Wilson Road Phase 2 and WY NP GRTE 11(1) Teton Park Road from Moose to Taggart Lake Trailhead. All questions were answered on 1/22/26. The document addresses ten inquiries from prospective contractors regarding technical specifications and project requirements.
Technical questions address concrete specifications, including mix design requirements per Section 601 and Subsection 610.04, federal color codes for integrally colored concrete (Davis Colors Rustic Brown 6058 and Sandstone 5237), finish standards (medium broom per Subsection 601.03(b)), and exposed aggregate finish specifications per FP-24 Subsection 552.12(c)(4). Reinforcement details for colored concrete pavement items are referenced on FLH Standard 501-1 Minor Concrete Pavement. General questions address unclear line items A2120 and A2140 (described as contingency-related with per-invoice payment), contractor housing requirements within 20 miles of Moose, Wyoming per Section 107.12 Contractor's Camp, and conflicting specifications regarding vault toilet work between Sections 646.01 and 713.26. Several questions note that clarifications will be addressed under Amendment A001, indicating ongoing specification refinements for the project.

We are not getting any response from the companies associated to these connection items A2120 and
A2140. Since these Items are going to be paid per invoice should they really be included in the bid? If they are included, they should be a fixed amount to make it far across all bidders. Please advise how we should handle these items?
This will be addressed under Amendment
A001.

Could you please clarify the purpose Line Items

Are there going to be any provided Camper spots for this bid? When attending the onsite presentation, it was stated that some would be provided. Also, the
RFQ says to located facilities within 20 miles of
Moose WY. With construction slated during peak tourism season this is almost impossible to do. What if we can not locate housing within 20 miles?
See Section 107.12 Contractor’s Camp. 1/22/26

646.01 in the RFP states “Vault toilet work includes the complete installation of a government furnished pre-cast concrete double vault toilet building. This also includes painting, cleaning, and earthwork.” But, in 713.26 its states the requirements for ordering a new CXT vault toilet. Is one vault toilet being government furnished and one being ordered by
Contractor?
