Dear Prospective Offeror:
The General Services Administration (GSA) appreciates your interest in submitting a proposal for an emerging technology vehicle via the 888E provision under this solicitation. Item 888E is an open line item that allows an offeror to propose any commercially made motor vehicle that incorporates emerging technology for which there is an existing Federal Standard vehicle category, and which conforms to all GSA standards and regulations that pertain to the Government’s motor vehicle requirements.
This solicitation remains open beyond the initial deadline for Standard Item 888E only. Please review the original solicitation and follow all directions for submitting proposals contained therein, paying particular attention to the proposal submission requirements located in Section F.1 and the evaluation criteria in Sections G.1 and G.2 to ensure your proposal meets the submission requirements. The Government will accept electronic proposals at any time after the initial solicitation closing for Standard Item 888E and will evaluate proposals within a reasonable time frame in the order in which they are received.
Electronic proposals for Standard Item 888E should be sent to the GSA points of contact listed within this SAM posting and to James.Purdy@gsa.gov.
AutoBid and/or GSAFleet.gov WILL NOT open for pricing submission during the supplemental evaluation periods for Standard Item 888E. Pricing information should be submitted via the 888E Proposal Template, along with the other electronic proposal documents required by the Solicitation.
Any models submitted under Standard Item 888E and approved by GSA are considered within the scope and intent of the solicitation and may be executed either by modification to the vendor’s current contract or by award of a new contract for those motor vehicles incorporating emerging technology.
Should you have any questions, please contact James Purdy, Contracting Officer, at (215) 446- 5843 or James.Purdy@gsa.gov. I look forward to receiving your proposal!
