OFFEROR’S EXPERIENCE IN SIMILAR PROJECTS

Provide a narrative of offeror’s experience performing similar work as outlined in the solicitation.

Include in the narrative at least three (3) past projects of similar scope. In describing each project clearly describe the size and scope of the project, if the project was completed on-time, and if it was within budget. Offerors may also, include innovative approaches, lessons learned, and how the project challenges were addressed within the given project scope and budget.

WSP Inc has been the selected milling contractor on the majority of the milling removal on top of the PCCP in recent years. This includes a variety of hard bid and on-call projects where we worked hand and hand with ADOT to deliver the desired results. Listed below are a few of our more recent similar projects

Loop 202 San Tan: Val Vista to SR101L Date: October 2024 202-C(208)T Value: $199,498,998.00

AC Milling: 753,000 SY Diamond Grind: 892,000 SY

The proposed work is located in Maricopa County between Val Vista Drive and SR101L. The intent behind the project is two add two general purpose lanes in each direction from the SR 101L to Gilbert Road and one general purpose lane between Gilbert Rd and Val Vista Drive. The work consists of milling off all the existing ACFC and diamond grind all the underlying PCCP for the traveling public. The project is still currently in construction but the milling has been completed on time and on budget.

US-60: Price to Loop 202 Date: November 2022 PO #500599 Value: $29,137,943

AC Milling: 2,211,498 SY Diamond Grind: 2,124,097 SY The original scope of this project covered the area between 101 Price freeway and the 202 San Tan freeway. Because of innovative changes to the process of milling the AC and changes to the grinding operations we were able to accelerate the project. The project was then extended West to Priest Road to tie in with the milling work being done on the Broadway Curve. Once that section was completed, ADOT added the section from the 202 to Crismon Road. The totality of the project was ahead of budget and time.

I-17: Dunlap Road to SR-74 Date: May 2024 017-A(261)T / 017-A(258)T Value: $25,364,023

AC Milling: 1,185,256 SY Diamond Grind: 970,848 SY

Both projects were completed on I-17 one spanned from I-17 to Deer Valley Rd and the other was from Happy Valley Rd. to Sr-74. The general purpose of both of these projects were to mill off the existing acfc on top of the PCCP, repair the PCCP and diamond grind the existing PCCP. The project was delivered on time and on budget.

ADOT On-Call Diamond Grinding

Solicitation Number BPM006648

Broadway Curve Date: November 2022 010 MA 149 Value: $729,709,314

AC Milling: 1,1548,084 SY

The Broadway Curve project runs along 11 miles of I-10 between Loop 202 and I-17. The general purpose of the project is to widen I-10 to six general purpose lanes and two HOV lanes in each direction between US-60 and I-17 while also adding a fourth general purpose lane in each direction between Ray Rd and Us-60. Amidst this project all existing acfc that had suitable PCCP underneath needed to be removed so the underlying PCCP could be diamond grinded. This portion of the work was delivered on time and on budget.
