About this file
This document contains an email exchange between Trish Lorenzen from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) and Chase Voirin from Harris Environmental Group, Inc., regarding a clarification request for solicitation BPM003500 for Water Quality Sampling and Monitoring. The communication involves a request for information and a response from Harris Environmental Group about their capabilities for data loading.
The clarification request focuses on Harris Environmental Group's ability to directly load water quality data to EPA's Water Quality Exchange. Chase Voirin confirmed that they have the capability to load data directly to the exchange, though they have no previous examples of doing so. The company bases this assertion on their experience with ADEQ's Water Quality Database and the 123 app, and after reviewing the exchange portal and data entry process. The solicitation requires a response by August 2, 2021, at 2 pm Arizona time, and involves water quality sampling and monitoring services.

Good morning Patricia, We have received and reviewed the Clarification request. Our response is that yes, we do have the ability to directly load water quality data to EPA's Water Quality Exchange (rather than through ADEQ's Water Quality Database). However, we have no previous examples of data loaded to the water quality exchange because we have never completed this in the past, nor have we been required to do so. After reviewing the exchange portal and the data entry process, we are confident in our abilities to directly load water quality data to the exchange. We are also basing our answer for our abilities under the assumption that entering data onto the exchange is somewhat similar to our previous experiences of entering data on ADEQ’s Water Quality Database and the 123 app.
Please let me know if you need further clarification.
