About this file
This is a Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement attachment required for submission with bid responses to the Jordan School District's Invitation for Bid (IFB) #27TH03 for an Identity Management Tool from Tools4Ever. The document serves as a certification form that vendors must complete and submit as part of their proposal package in accordance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97). The statement establishes compliance requirements for the contract duration and outlines prohibited boycott activities that would disqualify a vendor or trigger immediate written notification obligations to the public entity.
Vendors responding to this IFB must certify they are not currently engaged in an economic boycott or boycott of the State of Israel and agree to refrain from such boycotts throughout the contract term. The prohibited boycotts include those targeting the State of Israel; companies engaged in traditional energy, mining, or agriculture activities; companies involved in firearm manufacturing, distribution, sale, or use; companies failing to meet environmental standards exceeding state and federal requirements; and companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries, unless the boycott serves an ordinary business purpose. The certification requires vendor signature, printed name, and date, with the understanding that any violation must be immediately reported in writing to the Jordan School District.

PUBLIC CONTRACT BOYCOTT RESTRICTION STATEMENT
(This document to be submitted with bid response)
In accordance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97) Public Contract Boycott Restrictions, vendors contracting with the Jordan School District to provide any good or service, including supplies, information technology, or construction services, must certify they are not currently engaged in an “economic boycott” nor a “boycott of the State of Israel” as those terms are defined in that Code section. Vendors must also agree not to engage in either boycott for the duration of the contract (if awarded). For example, a vendor may not, without an ordinary business purpose, boycott: the State of Israel; companies engaged in activities related to traditional energy, mining, or agriculture; companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution, sale, or use of firearms;
companies that do not meet environmental standards beyond applicable state and federal laws;
or companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. If a vendor does engage in such a boycott, it must immediately notify the public entity party to the contract in writing.
We agree to comply with the above statement during the entire contract period.
