About this file

This is a Bid Schedule document for the City of South Jordan, Utah, detailing storm drain installation services on Summer Stone Drive. The project scope involves installing approximately 155 linear feet of 15-inch HDPE storm drainpipe, along with two inlet/combo boxes approximately 4 feet deep. The new storm drain system will connect to an existing combo box and/or a new cleanout box, with final design or application modifications made in the field as necessary based on existing conditions and City approval. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, excavation, installation, backfill, compaction, and site restoration necessary for completion. Work shall begin as soon as possible after Notice to Proceed and must be completed by Friday, October 2, 2026, as the City is planning a concurrent re-treatment of the roadway surface that is contingent on storm drain completion. Bids are being submitted through Bonfire, the State of Utah's procurement website, with bidders required to register as vendors on the platform prior to submission.

The bid schedule breaks down work into eight line items including mobilization/de-mobilization, site preparation and traffic control, labor for excavation and installation, one combo box with hooded grate and City manhole lid, 155 linear feet of 15-inch HDPE pipe, inlet boxes for existing replacements as needed, and a City encroachment permit with a waived fee. All pricing is submitted as lump sum amounts except for the HDPE pipe, which is quoted on a linear foot basis. Bidders are required to be pre-qualified contractors with the City of South Jordan, and all work must comply with South Jordan City standards and specifications. The project is funded by the City of South Jordan with no indication of outside funding sources.
