Addendum No. 2 Summary

This document is Addendum No. 2 to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Request for Proposal issued by The School Board of Seminole County, Florida (SCPS). The addendum was posted on January 9, 2026, with a solicitation opening date and time of January 21, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. EST. SCPS is seeking a comprehensive ERP solution to serve approximately 7,500 employees across the district. The preferred project start date is July 1, 2026, or upon completion of contract and procurement activities. While a specific go-live date has not been selected, SCPS anticipates a phase-in approach beginning within 12 months of project start. Vendors are instructed to propose their best recommendation for successful implementation. All solicitations must be received by the deadline; late submissions will not be accepted. The purchasing contact is Amanda Zarko, Senior Purchasing Agent, at zarkoaz@scps.k12.fl.us or 407-320-0237.

The addendum addresses 82 questions and clarifications from vendors regarding system requirements, integration needs, implementation approach, and organizational capability. Key clarifications include confirmation that SCPS has approximately 7,500 employees who will require self-service functionality for leave requests and time tracking; standardization of processes is desired across the district rather than department-by-department implementation; offshore data storage is prohibited, though offshore resources may be used via secure connections; and the Selection Committee will evaluate experience based on RFP guidelines rather than pre-qualifying vendors on specific scenarios. All pertinent information regarding systems, interfaces, benefit plans, payroll structure, regulatory reporting requirements, and technical specifications is contained in Attachment L of the RFP. Vendors must acknowledge receipt of this addendum and return it with their proposal submission.
