About this file
This exhibit document establishes the City of Dallas's standard procedures for change management and standards release and deployment management applicable to equipment, software, and services procured under this contract. The exhibit outlines the acceptance process whereby deliverables become effective upon approval by the City's Designated City Representative in accordance with the Information and Technology Services' Change Management and Standards Release and Deployment Management protocols. The City retains the right to conduct acceptance testing of all deliverables and may require reasonable contractor assistance to facilitate this testing. The contractor must notify the City's Designated City Representative upon completion of delivery, after which the City has a reasonable timeframe to complete testing and determine whether deliverables meet specifications, functionality, and performance requirements.
The exhibit specifies that the City shall either issue formal acceptance or provide written notice of any defects or failures identified during testing. Contractors are responsible for correcting errors in accordance with applicable Service Level Agreements, with failure to remedy defects subject to provisions outlined in the Contractor Hosted Services SLA. Final delivery of equipment, software, or services must occur within agreed-upon timeframes as defined in change orders and developed jointly between the City and contractor at the beginning of the change process. This standard applies to the City of Dallas's five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity service agreement for Animal Shelter Software/Application and governs the testing, acceptance, and deployment of all related deliverables throughout the contract term.
