About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for Solicitation S-29100-00014106, issued by the Oregon Department of Corrections Purchasing Section for a Warehouse Cooler/Freezer Upgrade at the TRCI (Transportation Reception Center Interface) facility. The addendum provides key revisions and clarifications for potential contractors, including requirements to demolish the existing concrete pad and construct a new pad extending at least 36 inches on all sides of compressor racks, replace the existing fence surrounding the new pad, and modify cooling equipment infrastructure. The owner will provide temporary cooling equipment during the replacement phase, and contractors are advised that food racking can be temporarily removed to facilitate evaporator coil replacement.
The addendum modifies several contract terms, including reducing the liquidated damages amount to $2,066.00 and providing detailed specifications for fencing materials. The fence must be constructed using hot-dipped zinc-coated steel components, with No. 9 gauge two-inch woven diamond mesh fabric, eight feet tall, and installed according to the Chain Link Fence Manufacturers' Institute requirements. Additional specifications cover concrete pad construction, with a requirement that concrete develop a minimum compressive strength of 3,000 PSI in 28 days. Contact information for equipment-related inquiries, including Omni Team equipment and Schulz Associates, is also provided to support potential bidders in their project preparation.
