About this file

This is Amendment 0003 to solicitation 1333MK25Q0052 for fleet inspection repairs on the NOAA Ship Pisces, issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Marine and Aviation Operations. The work requires the contractor to provide all parts, labor, rigging, sub-contractor support, supervision, and expertise for oceanographic research ship repairs, with performance period of March 5-19, 2025 at Norfolk, VA. All welders must be ABS certified.

The solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 336611 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The government will evaluate offers based on capability (past performance and quote details), availability (parts and service completion), and price (base price and optional prices including labor hours and markup fees). Offers will be evaluated on a best value trade-off basis for a firm fixed-price purchase order with Net 30 payment terms. The amendment updates the List of Attachments to include additional technical drawings and specifications related to the ship repairs, including gangway drawings, paint schedules, ladder load tests, and system diagrams.
