About this file
This is an Interlocal Agreement Form document from the Amarillo Independent School District (AISD) pertaining to a Food Service Equipment Repair Services contract opportunity. The form establishes the framework for the Central Texas Purchasing Alliance (CTPA) interlocal purchasing agreement, which allows AISD to extend contract pricing and terms to other authorized political subdivisions and CTPA member districts. The scope encompasses commercial kitchen equipment repair and refrigeration equipment repair services for the District's Child Nutrition Department across approximately 50 AISD campuses and facilities in the Amarillo area. Services are provided on an as-needed basis for equipment including reach-in coolers, walk-in coolers, reach-in freezers, walk-in freezers, and milk boxes. AISD reserves the right to award contracts to one or more qualified vendors to establish a pool of available service providers and may utilize any awarded vendor based on availability, response time, expertise, workload, equipment type, and other factors determined to be in the District's best interest. The proposal submission deadline is August 3, 2026.
The interlocal agreement form requires vendors to indicate whether they will honor orders from political subdivisions and CTPA member districts in addition to AISD orders, with pricing submitted in accordance with standard contract terms and conditions. Vendors must provide an authorized representative signature and date on the form to confirm participation in the CTPA interlocal purchasing program. A complete list of CTPA member districts is available through the CTPA website. The document does not specify contract value, contract term length, or incumbent contractor information. All vendor personnel requiring access to AISD property must undergo background checks through the Fingerprint-based Applicant Clearinghouse of Texas (FACT), with costs borne by the vendor. Vendors must maintain comprehensive liability insurance, comply with safety protocols, and submit mandatory federal and state certifications including Davis-Bacon prevailing wage compliance, drug-free workplace certification, and debarment certifications.
