Summarize the scope and deliverables provided, including timeline and outcome. Include similar services performed as those required by this solicitation. State the name(s) of any of Offeror’s key personnel proposed in Attachment 6, who worked on this project:
The Town of Cave Creek’s collection system and wastewater treatment plant had deteriorated markedly, and maintenance had been deferred for some time. New leadership intended to manage the infrastructure more proactively, and needed to know infrastructure condition, order of criticality, and 5-year funding requirements.
GHD completed a system-wide assessment and mapping for the collection and treatment systems. Subsequently, we did extensive modeling and evaluated the systems to project current capacity and future needs, considering condition, performance, and compliance. We used the results to develop 20 projects to be undertaken over a 5-year CIP schedule to meet the challenges and quantify the financial investment required to maintain the system safely and efficiently.

GHD was procured to design a wastewater pretreatment plant for an industrial client. The design had to comply with stringent metals and BOD limits.
GHD designed a pretreatment plant that incorporated 300,000 gallons of storage capacity, chemical storage, neutralization tanks, a lamella clarifier, a filter press, and two gravity filters.
List key Materials or Services provided.
100% construction drawings, permitting support, design report and commissioning support.

Summarize the scope and deliverables provided, including timeline and outcome. Include similar services performed s those required by this solicitation. State the name(s) of any of Offeror’s key personnel proposed in Attachment 6, who worked on this project:
GHD was procured to evaluate the existing headworks that was experiencing performance and operational issues related to the mechanical screening equipment and systems. GHD completed field assessments, hydraulic and screening evaluations and developed multiple alternatives to correct the deficiencies, this included an economic evaluation of each alternative. The City of Surprise utilized this recommendation to move forward with engineering and design. GHD completed the engineering and design that included new center flow screens, sluice system, compactors, booster pumps and upgrades to the headwork structure. The project was delivered in BIM.
The major goals of the project, communicated by the City and then evaluated/quantified by GHD, focused on the following:
· Renewed life cycle – Rehabilitating and/or replacing the influent junction structure and any corresponding components to provide a greater-than-30-year life
· Operability – Facilitating ease of operations and maintenance (O&M) for City staff, as well as providing the City with confidence in the facility’s long-term functioning
· Resiliency – Purposefully identifying and implementing strategies for junction structure configuration and equipment that prioritize the City’s ability to maintain O&M and compliance during and after changing conditions
· Safety – Implementing planning and design elements that reduce safety risks to the lowest acceptable level
· Capital cost – Meeting all the desired goals within the budget available (creating a decision matrix to quantify each of the design alternatives)
· O&M costs – Considering how the cost for long-term O&M of infrastructure is far greater than the capital cost (incorporating the long-term costs into the decision matrix)
· Schedule – Understanding the inherent connection between schedule and costs, especially regarding the extremely costly complete bypass of the system required; evaluating every design and construction decision for schedule impacts
List key Materials or Services provided.
3D model, 100% construction drawings, design report, vendor support, permitting support, alternatives study.
