Critical deadlines include a bidder question deadline of May 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM EDT and bid submission closing on May 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT at the Bulloch County Procurement Office, with an estimated award date of June 2, 2026. All work must comply with current GDOT Standard Specifications for Construction (2021 edition) and MUTCD standards for traffic control.

Participation in this procurement is restricted to GDOT Prequalified Subcontractors, which represents a significant qualification requirement limiting the pool of eligible bidders. The successful contractor must provide a bid bond equal to 5 percent of the total bid amount, along with payment and performance bonds each equal to 100 percent of the total contract price upon award. Insurance requirements include workers' compensation coverage, general comprehensive liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, and auto liability insurance with identical limits. Contractors must demonstrate E-Verify authorization and submit required affidavits including non-collusion, bidder declaration, contractor affidavit, and subcontractor affidavit declarations. Liquidated damages of $150 per calendar day apply for failure to meet the specified completion deadlines. The specific contract award value has not been disclosed in the available procurement documents; however, interested contractors should contact procurementeng@bullochcounty.net or visit https://bullochcounty.net/bid-opportunities to obtain the complete bid package and any associated addenda.
