About this opportunity

The City of Oklahoma City is seeking a contractor to complete a restroom renovation project for the Central Maintenance Facilities (CMF) Building 2, located at 3738 SW 15th Street. The project involves providing all necessary labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to renovate the building's restrooms according to specification plan A-201. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 8th at 2:00 PM at the CMF building location, with electronic bids due through https://www.bidnetdirect.com/oklahoma/cityofoklahomacityandtrusts by 10:00 a.m. on August 14, 2025. Contractors must complete the project within ninety (90) days from the contract award date. To be considered, bidders must submit a completed Special Questionnaire Application for Contractors Prequalification, which will be evaluated to determine the lowest and best responsive bidder. Required documentation includes a Business Relationship Affidavit and an Anti-Noncollusion Affidavit, both of which must be notarized and attached to the bid submission.

The project appears to have no specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, though the City has implemented a Small, Local and Minority Business Subcontracting Program requiring contractors to submit utilization plans and reports. Contractors must provide performance bonds, statutory bonds, and maintenance bonds equal to 100% of the contract price, along with certificates of insurance naming the City as an additional insured. The estimated project cost is $100,000 or less, qualifying it for an informal bidding procedure. Successful bidders must comply with storm water construction permit requirements and nondiscrimination policies. Payment will be made upon project completion and after final inspection and acceptance by the City Engineer, with potential for monthly progress payments for larger contracts. The renovation will involve installing specialized flooring systems, specifically the Dur-A-Quartz Floor System, which is designed for industrial applications and meets various regulatory standards.
