The contract is subject to Massachusetts prevailing wage requirements under M.G.L. Pricing is structured as all-inclusive hourly rates for general installation services (with overtime at 1.5 times the regular rate for work outside 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday) plus unit prices for materials reimbursed at cost plus 10% markup. Approved subcontractors may be billed at cost plus up to 10% markup.
The contract amount shall not exceed $90,000 for the term January 1, 2027, through June 30, 2027, with no renewal options. BPS is not obligated to use the full amount and may utilize any portion based on operational needs. A performance bond and labor and materials payment bond, each equal to 100% of the contract price, are required. A 5% bid deposit must accompany bid submission. Award is made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bids will be opened and read aloud on November 5, 2026, at Campbell Resource Location (1216 Dorchester Avenue, Boston, MA 02125) and via Zoom.
