Manufacturer or proprietary product names, when specified, are intended to establish the required color, style, quality, appearance, performance, or functional characteristics and shall not preclude the use of equivalent products.
Alternate or equivalent products may be proposed for BPS approval. When proposing an alternate product, the Contractor shall submit a complete product data sheet and sufficient information for BPS to determine whether the proposed product meets the required specifications. The Contractor shall provide installation services for both interior and exterior signage at BPS facilities.
Exterior signage may include wall-mounted, fence-mounted, post-mounted, or other appropriate installations. The inspection may include verification of dimensions, mounting surfaces, accessibility, exact sign placement, site conditions, and other factors that may affect fabrication or installation.
Small, routine, or straightforward sign installations may not require a separate initial site visit, at the discretion of BPS.
The Contractor shall coordinate with the designated BPS representative regarding site access, scheduling, sign placement, installation requirements, and completion of work.
Delivery, Removal, and Repair
The Contractor shall provide delivery of fabricated signage to BPS locations as requested. The Contractor may also be required to remove existing signage, related hardware, and materials and dispose of removed materials as directed by BPS and in accordance with applicable requirements.
