About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Boston VAMC, is conducting a sources-sought notice for domestically manufactured surgical lighting and camera equipment for Electrophysiology Lab renovation, with capability statements due August 15, 2026. No set-aside applies; however, the VA explicitly requires domestically manufactured components—each principal component (surgical light, camera, remote-control unit, wireless receiver, suspension or adapter components, power supply, and cable system) must be manufactured in the United States, with acceptable documentation including OEM country-of-manufacture certifications, brochures, or websites.

Work is performed at West Roxbury VA Medical Center, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132-4927, with a 120-calendar-day performance period after contract award.

The surgical light must be fully cardanic with endoscopy function, comprising at least 36 LEDs producing at least 160,000 lux with 5-level dimming, electronic focusing, laminar flow, and sterilizable handle with focus adjustment. The system must integrate with the existing PTZTS58E Portegra2 Set, Rail+Trolley suspension, and PORT2 Cable Spooler 250CM, and remain compatible with the Philips Azurion 7 C12 Catalyst fluoroscopy system. The HD wireless camera must deliver 1920 × 1080 resolution at 60Hz, support 10-fold optical zoom with 16-fold digital zoom, include 1 HDMI output, 180-degree image rotation, autofocus, and remote control functions for rotation, zoom, focus, brightness, and power on/off. Installation includes delivery and labor from two field service engineers for 1.5 hours each. All components must be procured from a single contractor; the VA will not split procurement between contractor and OEM.

NAICS 334510 (1,250-employee size standard); PSC 6515. Questions close August 7, 2026, at 1630 EST to pearl.wray@va.gov.
