About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center Contracting Office is seeking proposals from eligible consortia to establish an Other Transaction for Prototype Agreement to fund coordinated research and development prototype projects across ten military engineering technology areas. Proposals are due by August 7, 2018 and will be evaluated based on the consortium's structure and management, membership and expertise across the specified domains, and proposed fee structure. The agreement aims to select best value prototype projects for negotiation and award funding totaling an estimated $50 million over five years.
There is no set-aside designation. The agreement seeks to establish a consortium with broad and open membership from educational, nonprofit, and commercial organizations across expertise in areas including protective structures and systems, protection and survivability, geoscience modeling and simulation, and infrastructure maintenance and repair. The lead management organization will administer awards and collaborate on barriers between military/civilian, public/private, and local/regional/national concerns. Performance will take place at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center location in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
