About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 is seeking qualified sources for an Endo Suite Simulator and associated components for the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center in Long Beach, California through this Sources Sought Notice and Request for Information (RFI). Key requirements include a 27-inch touchscreen with full high-definition resolution (1920x1080), interchangeable cartridges for scope insertion, multiple endoscopic modules (ERCP, Upper/Lower GI, and Emergency Bleeding capabilities), power foot switches with USB outlets, and scope hangers with clips. The deadline for submitting responses to this RFI is December 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM Pacific Time, with submissions directed to Israel Garcia.
This opportunity carries no set-aside designation and represents market research intended to inform the government's acquisition strategy with no current incumbent identified. Respondents are not required to provide pricing information at this stage, though market pricing insights are encouraged for planning purposes under FAR 15.201(e). The VA has also indicated interest in trading in an old Endo Trainer unit as part credit toward the purchase of a new system, though no specific award value or budget range has been disclosed at this preliminary stage. No quantity specifications or detailed service timeline have been provided in the RFI materials, as this remains a sources sought phase designed to assess vendor capabilities and market availability before formal solicitation.
