About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Special Operations Command is soliciting proposals for the replacement of a shade canopy at Unity Park on Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico. The procurement requires the purchase and installation of one 60' x 40' UV-resistant shade covering with a minimum wind rating of 77 MPH, utilizing either a Superspan Hip Shade or UV Stabilized Woven High-Density Polyethylene fabric in a desert/sand color to match the existing base color scheme. Contractors must remove and dispose of the existing damaged shade cover while maintaining the current four-column structure with a 10' entry height, and all personnel must complete mandatory background checks and adhere to OSHA safety standards. The evaluation will be based on delivery time, technical acceptability, past performance, and price, with the award going to the lowest-priced technically acceptable vendor. Critical dates include questions due by June 9, 2025, and proposal responses due by June 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time.
This solicitation is designated as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 339920 (Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing) with a size standard of 750 employees, and all offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). No current contractors or incumbents are identified in the documentation, and no specific contract value or budget range is disclosed. The project requires completion of delivery and installation within 90 days of contract award, with work to be performed during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1600, excluding federal holidays. The ideal performance completion date is targeted for June 30, 2025, and contractors are responsible for providing all necessary tools, materials, transportation, labor, and equipment for the project. Performance will take place at Unity Park on Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico, where contractors must validate existing site conditions and may need to adjust designs based on their evaluation.
