About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the replacement of a shade cover at Unity Park, Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico. The project requires removing and disposing of the existing damaged shade cover and installing a new 60' x 40' shade covering with specific requirements: either a Superspan Hip Shade or UV Stabilized Woven High-Density Polyethylene fabric with a wind rating of 77 MPH or better, in a desert/sand color matching the base color scheme. The current structure has 4 columns with a 10' entry height, and the cable/hardware finish must be galvanized or rust-resistant.

Key contract performance details include a 90-day maximum completion timeline after contract award, with installation performed during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 0700-1600), excluding listed federal holidays. Contractors must complete a mandatory background check, provide vehicle documentation, and adhere to safety requirements. The contractor is responsible for all materials, transportation, labor, and equipment, and must validate site conditions, potentially adjusting the design after initial evaluation. Any modifications that increase costs must be documented and submitted to the Contracting Officer for review.
