About this file

This document contains a request for information related to Federal contract number W91364-23-B-0003 from the Ohio Army National Guard for a perimeter road restoration and fence replacement project. The request seeks information on the types and locations of culverts required, including specifications on size, material, and whether headwalls, wingwalls, riprap, or inlets are needed. It provides response dates and notes that costs or schedule impacts due to the responses should be submitted according to the terms of the contract. Standard drawings and more details on culvert locations would benefit the bidding process. The response identifies the culvert types and sizes required, permissible materials, and specifies the use of riprap, headwalls, and rock protection for three larger culverts. It also amends the scope of work to include pipe sizes, lengths and locations.

INFORMATION REQUESTED: In the updated SOW, on page 2, it states to install various culvert crossing pipe as per ODOT 611. Can you direct the bidders as to which type of culvert? There are Type A through Type F, and can be a couple difference materials. Is there a need for headwalls? Wingwalls? Rip Rap? Inlets? A standard drawing with what is expected for these culverts would benefit the bidding process. Approximate locations would also be necessary.
