B. Provide a complete photovoltaic system (PV) with a utility grid tie inverter to provide energy generation as shown on the drawings and specified herein.
C. If OBI is selected to be provided, coordinate with Contracting Officer for site PV system installation location.
1.3 SYSTEM OVERVIEW
A. General Project Requirements
1. The following outlines general requirements of bidders for these projects. Additional details are provided throughout this document.
2. Provide and install complete photovoltaic (PV, solar electric) power system.

C. System Operation
1. The system shall feed utility-grade power of 14KW at 208 VAC, 3 phase into the facility’s electrical distribution network. In this configuration, the photovoltaic (PV) system operates in parallel with the utility to provide solar power to the facility during daylight hours. This is a grid-interactive system; utility power is required for system operation and there is no storage capacity.
2. The system operation is completely automatic. The inverter control system will monitor and match utility voltage, frequency and phase angles and deliver current as sunlight is available. Upon detection of abnormal conditions such as over/under frequency or over/under voltage, or loss of power, the inverter disconnects itself from the utility grid and goes into a standby mode, awaiting restoration of normal utility conditions.
