About this file

This pre-solicitation document outlines requirements for an invitation for bid to upgrade building 504's fire detection and install a fire suppression system at Volk Field Air National Guard Base in Wisconsin. The project seeks a firm fixed price contract to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to upgrade the existing fire alarm system in the building, which is currently used as an aircraft hangar, and install a new mass notification and fire suppression system. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend an in-person pre-bid conference and mandatory site visit on August 23, 2022 to review the project details. Sealed bids are due by September 9, 2022 and will be publicly opened and read at that time. The contract is set aside for small businesses and has an anticipated value between $1-5 million. The winning bidder will be awarded a single contract for a one year period of performance beginning at notice to proceed.
