Text version

Site Setup and Tear down = How many days allowed for each?

*** 5 days start on the 2nd Aug everything need to be ready by the 7 Aug

Toilets = How often cleaned, daily or every other day?

***Toilet should be cleaned at 0600 and 1800hrs

All services = Is the number 250, 260 or 300 pax?

**300 personnel

Showers = Is the ratio of heads to pax 10.41? Can we use 6 stall containers and achieve the same ratio of 10.41 pax to shower heads?

**YES

Showers - PWS States - 5.0 Specific Tasks: The Contractor shall provide 3ea Eight Stall Restrooms Trailers: 40 Shower Heads Generator to power the units Fresh water storage and delivery to McCrady Training Site (FOB Palmetto). Is it 24 heads or 40 shower heads?

***Its 40 shower heads enough to support 300 personnel

PWS 5.1.3 Contractor shall provide vehicles equipped with four doors, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning system, seat belts, serviceable spare tire, jack and tire tools, and adequate safety equipment as required. Vehicles must seat 5 persons comfortably. Vehicles will be free of any cracks, dents, or scratches. What is this requirement?

**This probably was meant to be remove, so disregard

Will the government provide potable water?

***Government will not provide potable water

Will the government allow disposal of grey water at Ft. Jackson?

***I'm not 100 percent sure. I would imagine so due to it’s a training post

Tents = PWS states POP for this exercise shall be 20 days 2-23 August (actually 22 days if start date is 2 and end is 23?) DFAC Tent is 30 ft x 30 ft. - this is small for a DFAC tent? Do you also want table and chairs in this tent?

Mayor Cell Tent is 30 ft x 30 ft. - this will not fit 25 tables and 130 chairs?

**We need 20 tables and 120 chairs go in the DFAC tent and Mayor Cell tent 5 tables and 10 chairs. If possible can we make the DFAC Tent bigger

Will the government want cots for the sleeping tents?

***We already have cots

Will the government require refuse removal? How many garbage cans and dumpsters? How often emptied?

*** 4 dumpster, 2 on Fob PALMETTO, 1 on FOB ALASD, and 1 on FOB KABUL, The dumpster should be emptied 0600 and 1900.

Food Service = We do not see mention of a kitchen, just a DFAC tent. Will one be permitted to be placed on site, and what utilities are available. Looking at the language used in the PWS, the omission of a kitchen, and the location; they may be assuming all meals will be cooked off site.

*** Meals will be cooked offsite

Food Service = Are the 150 MREs and 150 Hala meals intended as cold boxed meals? Will these be distributed at breakfast service or will a separate lunch service be required?

**Will be distributed at breakfast service Food Service

**YES

Food Service = Could you elaborate on warming and cooling beverages required (type, estimated quantities)? Are containers provided, or contractor furnished?

***Mermites to carry meals to site, and storage place for the ice and water Food Service

**Container contractor responsibility
