Question

Will the columns required for the replacement system need to be anchor into the concrete and if so how thick into the concrete will it have to be? Or will the requirement be to have footers installed?

Answer

The new crane system will need to support itself using the existing 8 inch concrete foundation. The manufacturer's engineers shall decide the depth that the anchor bolts should go into the concrete.

There is a requirement for a Texas PE licensed Engineer to sign off on all drawings before fabrication can begin. * see amendment U0002*

Question

I am working on preparing an offer for solicitation W911RQ‐18‐Q‐0017 however I have one final question. On the FBO website it states required delivery is 45 days after the date of contract award however, on the actual solicitation (SF 1449) it states on page that the delivery date is 6 months ADC (After Contract Date) I would like to know which of these dates is the correct required delivery.

Answer

The total period of performance will not exceed 6 months.

Engineering drawings must be approved by Red River within 30 days of award. Up to 120 days from date of RRAD approval of drawings for delivery and up to 30 days for install.
