About this file
This document contains a past performance questionnaire draft and details of a related federal contract opportunity for M16A4 rifles. The past performance questionnaire is a template for references to provide feedback on an offeror's prior contract performance related to effectiveness of program management, cost controls, schedule adherence, quality of rifle production, and application of protective finishes. It requests ratings and explanations in specific areas. The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for up to two 5-year IDIQ contracts for M16A4 rifles in standard and alternate configurations. The contracts would provide a minimum order quantity and allow future orders to be competed between awardees. Offerors must meet licensing, domestic production, export control, and SAM registration requirements to obtain the technical data package and submit a proposal by the anticipated release date in 5-8 weeks.
