DRAFT RFP INTRO:

Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) hereby requests industry review/feedback/comment/questions on the DRAFT Request for

Proposal (RFP) for SHEET EXPLOSIVES. Please submit feedback ASAP, but NLT than 23 FEB 2022 via electronic mail to

<nathan.b.bowers.civ@army.mil> & <lynn.j.rivard3.civ@army.mil> .

Feedback is requested utilizing Questions Template found as Attachment 0008.

Items of interest include :

1. Is the requirement clearly defined? If not how can it be improved? (cite specific RFP page/paragraph/drawing references for clarity)

2. Is the USG missing industry practices that could improve the item/procurement? (e.g. packaging, shipping, testing)

3. Are any requirements unattainable by industry?

4. Are any companies interested in engaging with the Govt via "Industry Day" type communications either as large virtual meeting or individually? Note: NOT a commitment just gauging interest in regard to demand.

5. In the DRAFT RFP which, if any, tailoring of the commercial clauses (i.e. addendums) is inconsistent with commercial practice?

Please advise in order for the USG to obtain a waiver in accordance with FAR 12.302(c).

RFP is Full and Open competition.
