b. This SOP describes access requirements, including the responsibilities and procedures for obtaining access to ASG-KU Installations, Cooperative Security Locations (CSL), Logistical Nodes (e.g. Fuel Distribution Sites, Ammo Supply and Storage Sites) – hereafter referred to as “Installation”. Access control includes identification and verification of personnel and vehicles entering and exiting the Installation.
c. ASG-KU uses the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) administered by the Defense Manpower and Data Center (DMDC) as the primary means of registering and authorizing access to personnel and vehicles on the Installation.
d. This SOP will comply with Host Nation (HN) laws pertaining to residency and work permits unique to this AOR.
3. Responsibility:
a. Directorate of Emergency Services:
i. Retains ultimate responsibility for oversight and implementation of the Installation Access control program and registration IAW this SOP.
