REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION (RFI’S) AND ANSWERS -- SOLICITATION NO. W50S8R-22-B-0002

(as of 01 Sep 22)

QUESTION 01:

Solicitation states ““SOLE SOURCE: POC: Jerrica Hines ; hines@advantor.com ; 800-238-2686, ext. 6938.

Reference “SCIF Relocation for Mansfield, Ohio ANG”. Is this still true that they are the sole source of this solicitation?

ANSWER:

Section 11. of Instructions to Bidders states that for “ADVANTOR requirements” (as they relate to the overall SCIF) is what is Sole Source (pieces/equipment/etc that is part of SCIF that will need to be disassembled/any parts, pieces, components that may need to be upgraded when reassembling.

Advantor is sole-source for all Advantor-related services, as well). If the entire solicitation requirement was required to be sole-sourced to Advantor, we would not be soliciting out competitive, to small businesses/working directly with them. Advantor will be a “subcontractor” to whoever the awardee is.
