Questions and Answers – 11/7/17

Q1. Can the species be that of any other species? (Instead of Maple)

A1. No, maple is required.

Q2. On the two receptacles for the lower panel of the bench it states facing each other, and would hope you could clarify. Do you want them set into the table modesty panel or into the legs of the bench in order to face one another?

A2. The preferred configuration would be to mount the receptacles on the inside of the rear legs. The Receptacles are shown "facing each other" only so that the power cables that connect from one bench to the next (daisy chain) are more easily managed.

This configuration allows for less interference from the front of the work bench (by the user).

Q3. An ancillary item question - On the monitor arms, when mounting on the bench what is the preferred mounting point? Riser support apron? Riser side panel?

A3. The ideal mounting point would be on the Riser so that the entire work bench surface could be free for use on workload. However, the mounting arms MUST be solid/stable in order to properly support the two monitors on the arms as specified. Of particular importance is that the support/arms/etc. cannot interfere with positioning the work benches directly adjacent to each other (i.e. they must be able to be "butted" against each other from side to side and from back to back).
